Big Restructuring To My Betta Cribs

Well, finally I got time to tidy up my betta cribs. A bit left behind them for some time due to certain reason, although I said chinese new year want to breed betta, I still fail to do it, maybe only got a few fry that are surviving without food provided haha.. That's why this time I do a big clean up because really too dirty and mess already.

Forget to take before after photo.. but for those who ever come.. sure they can see a little different because its only 60% of cleaning stage haha. Next week gonna tidy again, weekday after working already evening.. quite hard to take time to tidy it.

This part I want reserve some space for planted tank aquarium hihihi.. halfway of cleaning raining ! I feel really excited when I collected so many bottle of water.. hahaha.. no need waste money for using pipe water..

See.. alot bottle.. collect from front house then bring to back house.. susah betul hahaha.. anyway still feel very meaningful because I get FREE WATER and so many for the first time.. We should collect water everytime raining ! Why waste it while some country dont even got water to use leh.. We never appreciate the rain falls to us.. but Today I did :D cheers

It's have been some time I dint update because I dint breed betta recently, but still keeping the remaining betta I left Haha. After working really busy unlike study times can really always take care betta after class.. Or should I wake earlier to feed betta before work? Haha..

My Outdoor Planted Tank

Let me intro my outdoor planted tank. Haha.. This is slightly different from those very beautiful Co2 tank. There is about 8 tank full of the round round leaf plant. What is so special about them?

Actually I start with only 1 tank for these plant. Later on I franchise them to each of the plant which mean every tank the plant is actually connected to each other from the main branch.. haha. I guest no one else did something like me.. hope so.. keke

This plant consider a good plant for me cause it make me feel the water will become quite clean and my betta fish actually looks quite safe to live in these tank without changing water whole year or even longer it suppose... haha. I just need adding water time to time. Hoola.. anyway I going to play CO2 planted tank soon.. hehe..

I really like dragon ! Scale really shinny and nice. Still young, hope get older will be more nice looking :D. Want to breed more dragon in coming times !

Aquascaping 01 - The Edge Of Shapness Canyon

A bit thinking too much to name this aquascaping. Anyway just name it for fun only. This is the first aquascaping I do. Still dint put water filter, duno it will affect anything or not. Water slightly blur might cause by the sand I put in and no water filter. Suppose need use what soil that sell at shop, but I use very cheap method haha. The plant also use cheap plant which do not need CO2. Hopefully these plant can grow well without those soil !

Although it is still not look quite nice, but I quite happy with it, aquascaping really can give a good sight for eye, feeling very nice art and the beauty of underwater, it make me really feel

Quite a long time I dint update my blog because I dont have much new betta to show yet. For the moment, got 8 batch of fry still growing, 2 batch might can see in bigger size one month later. These few batch got red dragon, white hmpk or pk, bicolor delta, and duno yet.

Just sold 6 betta today, white colour not much already. Just realize that I dont have much female betta left. Only got red female I think. Know new breeder in Kuching, Eddie - experience breeder. Thanks for support me :)

So hopefully we can gather more and more breeder so that we can make betta fish become popular in Kuching. And share our experience, should be quite interesting when more people have same interest.

So far there is 2 meeting have held on previous sunday, so I think most probably in future we can have betta sunday like west malaysia too. Have fun and keep it up ! :)

Wish everyone happy new year 2010 !! In coming new year, my ready to sell bettas are red betta ! Most of the male got red colour and female light body with red tail. Their tail type I consider it should be super delta or lucky might get halfmoon.

Female red and another type which got silver colour and some is even white colour.
I hope to meet more breeder in kuching or anybody that interested to keep betta fish.

Some simple info for beginner:

1. Have most basic equipment : Aquarium (size depends on how many you keep), Fish food.

2. Knowledge : Knowledge about what is betta fish, their types, gene, how to take care and others. All this you can get information internet. No worry ~

3. Have passion : Must have at least a bit passion and interest in keep bettas fish, have to spend a bit time to take care it.

4. Sources of betta fish : Where to get betta fish? Local fish shop, friend, online and of course ME.

5. To become a breeder : Must have 1-4 and understand the process of breeding !

I have plenty of red betta fish now. It might become red halfmoon or how I still not sure. What I sure is their tail all are red! Looks pretty~

They are still growing, another month they will fully become mature and look damn nice !!
Some bigger size move to another tank.. Jarring male should be in coming months.. Hopefully they grow to halfmoon !! Happy red red Chinese New Year! Haha

Blue Crown Tail + Salamander Daughter Red Tail lay egg today.

4 Batch fry, another small batch mix with big tank today.
Lavender + Red+Green Female in breeding process.

Estimate 3 to 4 month to see fry grow into big size. Infusoria is in testing to one of the batch.

Waiting to see result ! More Salamander and other betta will coming in soon !

It's about time to do experiment and serious breeding from now on.

Black Copper Halfmoon Male + First breed daughter = Fry Ready Swim Today
Salamander Male (Father) + Daughter = Fry Ready Swim Today (Alot)
White yellow Male (siblings) + white yellow female = Fry Ready Swim (mix with halfmoon fry)
Fully silver/grey Male + siblings female = Fry weak and most not survive
(reason : tank without any condition)

Tail Salamander Male + (Mother) Platinum White = Fry Ready Swim (Litle)
Notice that Tail Salamander Male have 4 ray tail surprisely that others siblings mostly are 2 ray. This must be a great chance to breed on this line. Going to breed once again with cambodia female.

All the fish in the website is out of stock however there is still alot siblings in tank which ready to sell.
